Please visit our Summer Session website for more information.Consider the many opportunities available to you, including:

The Summer Business Scholars Programnow in its 17th year, brings students across disciplines and around the world together for an immersion into Building the New Venture with entrepreneur and angel investor CJ Pryzbyl and other outstanding faculty coaches affiliated with the Chicago Booth School of Business, one of the top business schools in the world. SBSP encourages students from any academic discipline to participate, not just those with business backgrounds. SBSP’s experiential curriculum provides a solid foundation for those interested in using entrepreneurial skills to address the biggest issues of our time – be they local or global, social or environmental – through building a new for-profit or not-for-profit venture.

The Summer Financial Math Program invites students from any major who have strong quantitative skills to learn more about emerging careers in modern finance, which is more interdisciplinary than ever before. Financial markets have become increasingly complex, requiring specialized skills to effectively predict opportunities for profit and manage risk. These skills bring together mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, and computer science in ever-changing ways. Global demand has grown steadily for people who can understand, enhance, and develop new complex mathematical models, and individuals can choose from a variety of career paths in the industry, based on their skills and interests.

The Summer Language Institute allows you to cover an entire year’s worth of language in just 6-8 weeks. This program is ideal for undergraduate and graduate students who want the opportunity to study a language in an intensive and engaged format. We offer well-regarded courses in several languages, including ones that can be hard to find in other intensive summer programs, such as Arabic, Classical Greek, and Japanese.

Our general undergraduate courses across the curriculum, including chemistry, quantitative methods, game theory, upper-level Economics courses, and a selection of UChicago’s famed Core and Signature classes are also offered online. These courses may serve as pre-requisites for your current or future studies to post-undergraduate work.

Applications for University of Chicago summer programs will be accepted on a rolling basis until May 15, 2024, if space permits. Limited financial aid is available. Contact us at [email protected] with questions.
