In total, UOC offers over 140 study programs, supported by 9 doctoral schools in 10 fields of doctoral studies, providing students with ample opportunities to advance their academic and professional careers.

National and International Collaboration

Ovidius University of Constanța has recently joined two important academic consortia: one at the national level and one at the European level.

Universitaria Consortium is the oldest university consortium in Romanian, including the prestigious historical and some of the most representative Romanian universities today, all assuming a research-intensive academic profile. Covering about 42% of the Romanian students and about 40% of the academic staff, Universitaria Consortium is today the most representative academic consortium in Romania. The mission of Universitaria Consortium is related to the cooperation among members in order (1) to stimulate and support their academic development, including exchanges of best practices and (2) to develop a Romanian academic area of highest quality, integrated into the best European and international academic areas, by following the best international academic practices.

At the European level, ARTEMIS (Alliance for Regional Transition, Equality, Mobility, Inclusion, and Sustainability) aims to provide all its students with a European experience, be it physical, virtual, or hybrid. The first goal is to promote inclusion, ensuring that our students who do not yet have access to Erasmus+ exchanges are exposed to European values. ARTEMIS European University will act as a driving force for change and will boost the creation of European citizens through higher education. The Consortium is composed of 4 comprehensive universities(Université Clermont Auvergne – UCA, Project coordinator, France; Panepistimio Ioanninon – UoI, Greece; Università degli Studi di Perugia – Unipg, Italy; Universitatea Ovidius din Constanța – UOC, Romania) and 4 universities of applied sciences (Hogeschool VIVES – VIVES, Belgium; Tallinna Tehnikakõrgkool – TTK, Estonia; Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg – OTH, Germany; Høgskulen på Vestlandet – HVL, Norway).
