Start your Masters in January, and reap the rewards
For UK-based students, starting a Masters course in January can ensure that you have enough time to focus on completing your final year successfully, and also give you the time to create and submit a strong application to start your Masters.
For international students, a January start date may fit better with your School year. For many the academic year runs from January to December, meaning that students have the pressure of submitting an application during their final year, but then have to wait over half a year to start their Masters.
Joining a Masters course that starts in January may also improve your chances in landing the job you want after graduation. During the summer is an extremely competitive time to join the job market as so many graduates are looking for jobs during that time. Opportunities come up throughout the year, but by starting your job search in January you’ll have the added advantage of missing the summer influx!
Here at Nottingham Business School, we have a range of full-time Masters starting in January 2014, including:
MSc Management and International Business
MSc Management and Marketing
MSc Management and Finance
MSc International Business
MSc Trading in Global Financial Markets
