New Transition Program at UNSW Foundation Studies

The new intake for UNSW Foundation Studies’ well regarded Transition Program starts on September 30, 2013. Upon successful completion, you will be given a provisional offer to your chosen undergraduate degree at UNSW  for Semester 1, 2014 (March 2014).
The Transition Program is a 4 month university preparation program delivered on-campus at UNSW in Sydney (Australia) that will have successful students completing the program on the 24th of January. Over 90% of Transition students successfully complete the program and progress to University.
To enter our Transition Program you need:
• A minimum English language level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (with consistent individual scores). Cambridge AS level English Language – C grade. HKDSE English – grade 3
• A minimum academic entry level of Gaokao 70%, 65% for some provinces (525/750 for most provinces, 441/630 for Shanghai, 336/480 for Jiangsu, 630/900 for Hainan) OR Hong Kong HKDSE: 15 points over best 5 subjects from Category A only
• HKALE: 4 points: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1 (with a minimum of 3 points from
• A-level & counting AS grades as half points).
Transition streams in Engineering, Science and Business are taught on campus at UNSW , Australia’s leading international university.
