The MA Film Production course at the Arts University Bournemouth builds on the seminal BA (Hons) Film Production Course, at this world renowned specialist institution. Which offers high quality practice based education in film, design, cinematography, costume, sound, make-up, animation, performance, and media across the creative industries. It is recognized and respected by those same industries as a proven hotbed for emerging new talent.

Arts University Bournemouth has a limited number of MA Scholarship Awards (up to £3000), which are available to successful international applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrable high level of past achievement (either in education or through professional experience such as employment or in creative practice).
  • The quality of the personal statement or Study Proposal.
  • Capacity to achieve Masters’ standard.
  • Commitment to the particular pathway applied for.

The above criteria must be demonstrated in the combination of:

  • the portfolio/creative work;
  • the professional documentation (academic or professionally related reference)

To apply for a scholarship, you’ll need to complete the Application for MA Scholarship Award form.

The scholarships are awarded as a partial waiver of the tuition fee, not as a payment to the student. Please note, the scholarship does not contradict with early payment discount of 10%, which means if you are awarded scholarship and pay the full tuition fees by 01st August 2013, you are still entitled to a further 10% deduction from the fee once the scholarship has been deducted.

The deadline for MA student scholarships application is 12th July and the decision for award will be made on 26th July 2013.
