The fashion and luxury industry remains one of the most polluting sectors in the world. At BESIGN School, students passionate about these fields are encouraged to rethink their creative practices through the lens of sustainability. One such project saw a student transform surplus leather from a prestigious haute couture house into an elegant, handcrafted wastebasket—turning discarded luxury into desirable design.
