And so it begins, USW spreads the Christmas joy

So December is here and the University of South Wales is spreading Christmas Joy and treating students across our campuses.
#USWsanta has been out and about meeting and treating students – on the Caerleon campus he was giving out mince pies, handing out Christmas crackers on the Glyntaff Campus, giving presents from his sack on the Cardiff campus, treating students on the Newport City campus to slices of chocolate log and finally on the Treforest campus he got his hands on some mistletoe and gave out more presents from his sack.
Take a look at our short videos to see what he got up to for yourself!

Academic Strengths

Employability is at the heart of everything we do, with teaching informed by what happens in the real world. Our graduates have the skills that are essential for the workplace and value our employability schemes, business start-up support and opportunities to get actual experience, often as part of your course. It’s an approach that works – 95% of our graduates are in employment or further study within six months of graduation. The University of South Wales is committed to not only offering you an internationally recognised qualification but also to enhancing your employability. Employability is all about developing your workplace knowledge, skills and experience, therefore increasing your chances of gaining employment after your studies.

The University provides various Arrival Services for newly arrived international students. These services are available throughout the year. If you would like to use these services, you must pre-book and give us the exact details of your arrival five working days before travelling by completing and sending us an Arrival Services Booking Form. Alternatively, you may decide to travel to the University Independently.
International Welcome Programme (IWP) is an important social orientation programme that runs prior to Freshers’ week each September and February.
