Study Real Estate
A real estate degree course gives students the opportunity to achieve a greater understanding of complex issues such as finance, tax laws and zoning, mortgages, insurance and banking. Most importantly, a real estate degree course gives student’s a rounded understanding of property, which is useful for many global businesses in the world today.
Studying for an undergraduate real estate degree can take up to 4 years of full time study if you choose to work in the industry for a year (work placement); it can take 3 years if you choose not to. In the first year, students can expect to be introduced to building technology, property accounting and property economics. In year 2, students can expect to learn about commercial and planning practice, while in Year 3, students can expect to learn about property management and global practice. There will also be educational field trips, most of which are usually optional.
