The Netherlands has long been known for its forward thinking attitudes, international outlook and world-leading innovations. It is also one of the safest countries in the world, and the vast majority of Dutch people speak English to an excellent standard. The country is also seen as a forerunner in sustainable development, with efficient public transport networks and the ability to cycle safely around almost any area.
At Zuyd you will benefit from affordable tuition fees. For international students who have EU/EEA nationality, some of your tuition fees are government-subsidised so you pay only the statutory tuition fees, which normally amounts to around €2,209 (this amount is liable to change each year as the government see fit). For international students who do not have EU/EEA nationality, you will have to pay tuition fees that are a little higher, but they are still extremely affordable when compared to universities in many other countries.
