This program delivers an introduction into Social Science postgraduate study by establishing foundational knowledge in social work and social policy; organisational management of community and other non-governmental organisations NGOs; intervention strategies used in the Human Services sector; and social research practices in the social sciences. Such a foundation is considered essential for students to succeed in postgraduate programmes such as the Master of Social Work (Qualifying).
