About Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics, GradCert - at UTS Online

A recent survey of 640 global data and analytics leaders showed 57% of businesses are now incorporating data into all of their decision-making processes¹, further highlighting the demand for skilled professionals in this space.

The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is designed to give you the foundations in becoming a confident business analyst, regardless of your industry. This course is designed for those who have a background in either IT or business and want to gain foundational skills in business analytics.

Depending on your background, whether that's in IT or business, the four study periods in the Graduate Certificate will give you the skills to fill any gaps in either business acumen or technical knowledge.

Informed and taught through the UTS Business School, which is AACSB accredited - a status held by only five per cent of the world's business schools - you'll be learning from academics at the forefront of business analytics.

Entry requirements

To gain entry into the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics, applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree in a related field within the business or information technology discipline that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.

To gain entry into the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics without a previous academic qualification, applicants must have a minimum of four years, or equivalent, relevant work experience and general capacity to undertake tertiary education. The relevant work experience must be demonstrated through a C.V. and evidence of the date of employment and position held within the organisation e.g. Statement of Service, business registration letter, payslips or tax statements.
