Our distinctive course format means that approximately 20% of teaching is delivered by guest lecturers from industry, ensuring that the content remains relevant. Specialist subjects and case studies are also presented by experts with first-hand experience. Modules include: Communication and Leadership; Construction Management; Finite Elements for Tunnelling; Geological Investigation and Ground Characterisation; Health, Safety and Environmental Considerations; Rock Mechanics; Tunnel Design; Underground Construction Methods.
You’ll learn from internationally recognised academics and industry experts on a course uniquely developed in partnership with the British Tunnelling Society.
