Second Year
Biochemistry/Clinical Chemistry; Physiology/Immunology; Nutrition; Dietetics; Microbiology; Biostatistics/Information Technnology/Research Methodology; Communications; Language; Behavioural Science.

Third Year
Biostatistics/Information; Technology/Research Methodology; Medicine; Medical Sciences; Food Science/Food Studies; Nutrition; Dietetics; Communications, Behavioural Science; Management.

Fourth Year
Placement-based studies, 6 months. (Clinical Nutrition/Dietetics; Public Health Nutrition/Community Dietetics; Nutrition; Industry). Professional studies.

Fifth Year
Research Project - 3 months.

Duration
Four and a half years full-time.

Minimum Entry Requirements

Irish Leaving Certificate in six subjects, including Mathematics (ordinary level C3 or higher), English or Irish (at either level). C3 or higher grades must have been achieved in at least three subjects at higher level, one of which must be Chemistry
or
such qualification as the Institute and University may deem equivalent.

Award

Bachelor of Science (Human Nutrition and Dietetics), with honours classification of University of Dublin and a Diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics with honours classification of Dublin Institute of Technology
