About Master of International Hospitality Management, MBA - at The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management

This 1.5 year Masters program at EAHM, a combination of 1-year in-class coursework followed by 6 months of remote research project, is for those who wish to take the next step in order to elevate their existing skills and knowledge. Through the program students can balance their work and classes with ease and build a wide range of quality network in the industry. With graduates who have worked with over 100 brands across the world, the EAHM is a gateway to a world-class of opportunities.

Students can either complete their MIHM program in a span of 1.5 year or choose a more flexible approach where they can work and study in their comfort, which would therefore have them complete their course in a span of four years. The quality of the program has maintained high standards of deliverance as it was designed by 60 industry experts ensuring our students receive the best quality of education.

EAHM considers it to be their responsibility for students to upskill themselves when they graduate and resume their path to a successful career. During the program, students will gain a deeper understanding of the hospitality industry but also from a management perspective. They will learn to see the social, cultural and financial aspects of contemporary international hospitality management, put their own professional stamp on the corporate leadership processes within hospitality businesses, approach managerial issues in a creative, strategic and entrepreneurial way and plan, design and execute business research using a range of analytical techniques and presentation skills.

Upon graduating, MIHM students will start to see the effect of pursuing their education through EAHM with the list of luxury and premium brands they will have the chance to work with. EAHM invests into its students to nurture their knowledge and skills and in turn grow the hospitality industry with providing well qualified and well educated leaders of tomorrow.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for our MIHM degree you must have an accredited Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) by the time classes start. In case you have doubts on whether or not your degree is accredited please let us know.

English Proficiency

You also must have sufficient English proficiency. All MIHM applicants are required to take an English Proficiency Test - either the IELTS or TOEFL - with an adequate score. The minimum scores that we accept are:

  • TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test): 79 - 80 please be sure to include EAHM's institutional TOEFL code (7116) when booking the test. 
  • IELTS Academic: 6.0
