Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School offers international education with a variety of curricular options leading to careers or graduate studies in the dynamic world of television, broadcast journalism and film. The Media programme is well established; with 15 years of experience, it has already seen its graduates placed in many important positions in the Baltic media scene. Studies take place in a multicultural environment, with students working side-by-side with professors and fellow students from many different countries. The Media curriculum offers a good balance between practical and theoretical studies. Student productions and creative assignments are developed and produced in teams, using up-to-date equipment and newly built production facilities.
The 3-year Media BA programme adopts a ‘learning-by-doing’ approach to deliver the skills and understanding essential for the production of audiovisual content for multiple platforms. Students acquire hands-on experience in developing and creating audiovisual work in a variety of formats, including TV programs, short films, documentaries, music videos, advertising and corporate videos.
