The goal of the doctoral program “Engineering Technology, Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering” is to prepare high quality specialists in technical innovation and development in the field of engineering research laboratories and academic environment at the universities.
All International students, if English is not their first language, are required to provide a proof of English language knowledge. The following methods are acceptable:
IELTS – a minimum overall grade of 6.0, Please note that IELTS test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
TOEFL (iBT)- a minimum overall score 75. TOEFL institutional code for Riga Technical University is 8498. Please note that TOEFL iBT test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
Present a letter confirming that previous education was in English;
