About the Master in Management

The Master in Management is a 2-year (120 ECTS) program designed for students holding a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. It is the first Accredited Master in Management in Luxembourg. This program offers specializations in Financial Management, International Tax or Accounting, Audit & Control

This degree is dedicated to ambitious students who want to start their professional careers in Luxembourg. This program prepares students for a variety of career paths across different industries. Students will be able to work in a wide range of functional areas, such as fand prepares for a wide range of areas, such as Finance, Tax , Accounting, Project Management and many more.

  • The Master in Management is a 24-month-long program, including a 6-month paid internship.
  • Face-to-face classes take place in a 3 day study model allowing part time employment.
  • Students are required to earn 120 ECTS credits in order to graduate from the program.
  • In Year 2, students specialize in Financial Management, International Tax, or Accounting, Audit & Control – in high demand by Luxembourg employers.

About the course

The program is structured into four modules, each offering a distinct academic journey.

The courses in Semester 1 and Semester 2 collectively cover foundational aspects of business and management, including marketing principles, financial accountingmacroeconomicscorporate finance, and more.

Semester 2 introduces problem-solving, legal considerations, managerial accounting, entrepreneurship, and operations management. The initial two semesters establish a strong foundation through essential business and management courses

In the third semester students choose between Financial Management, International Tax, or Accounting, Audit & Control. 

And the fourth semester presents an exciting choice between a 6-month paid internship or the pursuit of a master's thesis.

Notes about fees for this course

Fees

  • Non-visa-required 

Students who do not need a Visa or Authorization to Stay in Luxembourg, the Master in Management program tuition fee is EUR 12,500 per year. The combined total for the two-year program is EUR 25,000. The total amount of tuition can be paid in several instalments. 

  • Visa-required 

Students who need a Visa or Authorization to Stay in Luxembourg, the Master in Management program tuition fee is  EUR 14,500 per year. The combined total for the two-year program is EUR 29,000

Candidates who apply before the First deadline receive a 5% discount

Candidates who pay the full tuition in one installment receive a 10% discount.  

Scholarship options for financing your education

  • From the Luxembourgish Government

The Luxembourgish state provides scholarships and a student loan to anyone enrolled in higher education and fulfiling certain conditions.

These are the available scholarhips at the Ministry of Higher Education and Research:

  • Base scholarship
  • Social scholarsip
  • Family scholarship
  • Mobility scholarship
  • Reimbursement of registration fees

These scholarships can be cumulated.

  • Merited-Base Scholarship from Luxembourg School of Business

Students can apply for the scholarship only after completing the whole application process on our website. 

The scholarship varies from 5% to 50% of the tuition fees.

Entry requirements

Admissions Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree(Bachelor degree or equivalent) from a recognized college or university with a minimum of 180 ECTS in any field of study (engineering, social sciences, sciences, business, economics, arts, etc.) is required to enroll in the first master in management in Luxembourg. 

 *For students without previous coursework in Statistics, Mathematics and Research Methods, these additional courses will be completed during the first year of the program parallelly to the other regular courses. 

  • Fluency in English: If you are not a native English speaker, please provide a proof of English proficiency. LSB accepts TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Cambridge test, GRE, GMAT Duolingo or any other recognized English test. The results must be equivalent to a B2 level minimum.

 If you have worked in an English-speaking environment for at least 2 years, please provide a recommendation letter from your superior. 

 If you are a native English speaker, or you have received a university degree exclusively taught in English, you do not need to submit proof of English proficiency. The transcripts are sufficient.  

  • Work Experience: Not required but valued: Previous work experience is not required but any relevant experience (internship, venture, volunteering, etc.) is an added value to your application. 

Application Process

1) Online application

2) Upload the supporting documentation

  • Current CV 
  • A one-page essay about your career plan and motivation to complete the MiM 
  • Letter of recommendation (academic or professional) 
  • Undergraduate transcripts * 
  • Proof of English proficiency 

3) Interview 

Pre-selected candidates will be invited for an interview with the Admissions Committee of the Master in Management program. 

At the request of the student, this interview can beconducted in person or virtually via videoconference. 

 4) Decision 

The Admissions Committee makes the final decision for admission to LSB’s Master in Management program. Candidates will be informed of the outcome by email.

Admissions Deadlines  

There are two intake periods, one in September and the other in March.

  • Intake September

First deadline: 15th April 2024

Final deadline for ATS/Visa Students: 15th May 2024

Final deadline: 1st August 2024

  • Intake March 

First deadline: 15th November 2023

Final dealine for ATS/Visa Students: 15th December 2023

Final deadline: 31st of January 2024

Candidates who get enrolled before the first deadline will receive a 5% discount.
