About Engineering Design and Manufacture (Distance Learning), MSc - at School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, Loughborough University

The Engineering Design & Manufacture Distance Learning programme is designed to build on practising              engineers’ and designers’ skill base with knowledge of contemporary Engineering and Management methods. This aims to facilitate career progression within Product Design or Manufacturing roles.

 The programme structure makes it suitable for Engineers to study whilst still in employment and the work-based Individual Project allows students to apply theoretical knowledge learned in this programme directly and immediately to their own workplace.

  • Advanced Manufacturing Technology
  • Design of Machine Elements
  • Design for Assembly
  • Engineering Design Methods

The programme modules are rotated on a 3 year cycle with 3 being delivered each year.
