We believe that it is vital to address the strategic aspects of company management in addition to gaining expert specialist knowledge. This makes it possible to adopt an integrated approach to sectorial and functional corporate issues: this is the purpose of our Specialised MBA. The teaching approach used by the faculty is based on active student participation and the use of real business scenarios in which future graduates learn to work in interdisciplinary and international teams.

A teaching approach that breaks with convention

The MBA teaching style breaks away from other more traditional formats: the programme is organised on a one or two-week intensive seminar basis which enables participants to immerse themselves fully in each of the subjects taught. Students are required to do pre-class readings so that they take responsibility for their own learning and their teachers become catalysts for student success rather than one-directional deliverers of information.

The La Rochelle MBA is an internationally-recognised programme. Teaching is based on innovative methods drawn from the experience of our partner School of Sciences and Management at the University of Quebec in Montreal (ESG- UQÀM) which has produced business executives now working throughout the world.
This programme automatically awards a double qualification: a double University Master qualification with an MBA from ESG-UQÀM and in addition, the possibility of a state-registered qualification from the French National Qualifications Framework RNCP linked to the chosen specialisation.
