Are you keen to find reasons for and answers to the challenges that face our society? This highly relevant combination of subjects could be just for you. The course provides a comprehensive understanding of psychology and a variety of sociological issues and topics, both current and historical. You’ll develop a deep insight into human thought, action and behaviour.
This course features many opportunities to apply your learning to the real world. For example, our students have acted as a consultant to a charity to find solutions for a real-life social issue and worked with the University to evaluate psychological challenges of the climate change emergency.
While on the course, you’ll develop skills for your future career, including teamwork, communication, time and task management, statistical analysis of data, problemsolving and the ability to critically evaluate evidence.
