About Psychology with Counselling at Bournemouth University

Combining psychology with professional counselling gives students a platform to gain knowledge of psychological theory and apply it to real-life person-centred experiences, situations and issues. Offering a wide range of topics, this degree provides transferable skills and a gateway to a career within the industry, with the flexibility to choose the units you study in your final year. 

You’ll be situated within the Department of Psychology and will learn theories and practical skills covering a range of psychological approaches through state-of-the art facilities. Entry requirements

September 2019 entry: 112-120 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 including a minimum of 6.0 in writing with minimum 5.5 in each of the 3 other components or equivalent. 

September 2020 entry: 112-128 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four components or equivalent.
