ONCAMPUS Ireland

A body of water with green hills and a blue sky in the background

Based at UniHaven College in Maynooth, ONCAMPUS Ireland is the newest addition to Cambridge Education Group’s portfolio and the first to be based in Ireland.

The new study destination offers students a forward-thinking, innovative academic environment against a backdrop of beautiful landscapes and historic cities.  As a student at ONCAMPUS Ireland, you will become part of a tradition of academic excellence and be encouraged and challenged to contribute and speak your mind.

As a destination, Ireland has so much to offer international students. It is widely recognised as one of the most beautiful countries in the world, full of picturesque countryside landscapes and historic cities full of life and culture.

It also consistently ranks in the top 20 countries in the world for quality of life, peace, and human development, and is one of the safest and most tolerant places to live in Europe. It is renowned for its friendliness and hospitality, so students are assured of a fantastic international experience while studying there.

Maynooth, the home of ONCAMPUS Ireland, is located 30 minutes outside of the city of Dublin, giving students the best of both worlds while they study – the homely community town where they are based and the vibrant capital city just a short trip away! Maynooth itself is also the country’s oldest university town home to two universities Maynooth University and St Patrick’s Pontifical University.

Ireland also has an excellent reputation for teaching. According to QS rankings, Irish universities are in the top 1% of research institutions in the world. International students who join ONCAMPUS Ireland offers an International Foundation Studies Programme designed to enable them to progress onto undergraduate degrees, some guaranteed, at a number of top Irish university partners.

The IFP is offered with two pathways: a Business and Social Sciences and an Engineering and Science pathway. Both are taught by a passionate and dedicated team of teaching staff, providing the best opportunity for students to succeed as they develop their academic skills.

The progression partners for ONCAMPUS Ireland students include:

  • Maynooth University
  • South East Technical University
  • Dublin City University
  • Holmes Institute Dublin
  • Munster Technological University
  • St Patrick’s Pontifical University
  • University College Cork

Graduates from Irish universities have the chance to apply for 1- or 2-year post-study work visas to advance to careers in Ireland’s booming sectors of IT, biopharma, finance, medical devices and beyond. Ireland has served as a hub for global industry for years and is home to some of the world’s largest multinational companies, including Google, Apple, Meta, Pfizer, Merck, and GSK.
