International Law Masters Programmes

International law is a field of study that deals with laws, rules and regulations that are relevant to more than one country or state. An international lawyer will need to be knowledgeable about international relations, the sociology and cultural aspects of different countries, and how to enact the laws in the most appropriate way. You will also be responsible for upholding these international laws and ensuring that each country or state is following the laws.

During a masters in international law, you will build upon the knowledge you gained through your undergraduate degree. Topics you could cover include:

  • Global Law and Globalisation
  • International Dispute Resolution
  • Legal Systems of the World
  • Peace and Security
  • Environmental Protection Laws
