Animation is a creative arts discipline that has been around for many years. The techniques have come a long way since the inception of animation, although traditional animation is still practised. As an animator, you could have opportunities to work on films, television programmes, music videos and other visual media forms. You will work alongside other animation artists to create projects from start to finish.

With just over 50 universities and colleges around the country, Lithuania's education tradition is one of the oldest in Eastern Europe, dating back to 1579 with the establishment of Vilnius University in the nation's capital city. Although the country has experienced rapid economic growth and modernisation, it maintains its history, and is one of the best preserved Mediaeval countries.
