User Experience Design (also known as UXD or UX Design) is a discipline that looks at improving the interaction between a consumer and a product or service. This includes online or computer based products and services. As a user experience designer, you are responsible for ensuring that the usability, aesthetic design, usefulness and overall performance of a product or service is optimal for customers and consumers, as this can be integral to the success of a brand and its products.
During a User Experience Design degree, you will cover a range of topics. These will cover the basics of UXD, as well as the more complex areas of the subject. Some examples of modules you might study are:
