Explore how people and places interact on our dual honours degree programme which combines teaching expertise from the Departments of Geography and Urban Studies and Planning.
You can select modules in order to specialise in particular areas on this highly flexible degree. The modules are a combination of geographic and urban planning topics which offer insights into the processes, policies and practices operating within urban and rural areas.
Your first year will establish the foundations of your knowledge of human geography and planning. In your second year, you'll develop your understanding of economic, social and political geographies along with the planning policies and market processes that shape our towns and countryside. The third year enables you to specialise in the modules that interest you, culminating in your own dissertation research project.
