Entry requirements for this course are normally one of the following: 200 points from one double award or 260 points from three A levels (including General Studies) plus GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C or above or equivalent and excluding Key Skills. Other suitable experience or qualifications will be considered. We consider all applications individually.IntroductionThe UK Computer Games Industry continues to produce innovative and creative games titles. This fast paced transferable technology is embedded in the next generation products and applications, which you will find in architectural design, concept product design, 3D, animation and TV to name a few. There has never been a better time to study a course that will enable you to gain a sound understanding of industry requirements. You will become capable of designing and producing artwork and concepts for the computer games industry with a broad understanding of the process of designing and specifying computer games. This course will develop your abilities to design and produce creative concepts, artwork and graphical assets for computer games. It will introduce current research, issues and ideas, and developing technologies used by the industry.
