During this course, you will study the fundamental structures and theoretical principles of English and language in general, and use them to understand and analyse spoken and written English discourse in context. This may include investigating sounds, word meanings, sentence structures, discourse analytical principles, child language acquisition, and language variation and change.
Our full-time undergraduate tuition fees for UK and EU students entering University in 2018/19 are £9250 a year, or £1540 per 20-credit module for part-time study.
Students from countries outside the UK are expected to have entry qualifications roughly equivalent to UK A Level for undergraduate study and British Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) for postgraduate study.
