Eligibility
A minimum of 240 ECTS including a Bachelor's degree of equivalent first cycle qualification comprising of at least 180 ECTS or a corresponding
qualification from an Internationally recognized University. Specific entry requirements are: 60 ECTS in the field of Public Health of which 5 ECTS must include basic health economics expertise. A minimum of 30 ECTS of the studies in Public Health must be at advanced level. In addition, Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper Secondary course English 6/level 2.
Selection
Academic credits completed by the last application date (in the range of 30-285 credits equivalent to ECTS)
European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland citizens are not required to pay application and tuition fees for education at Swedish universities at the undergraduate and master's level.
With a few exceptions, all citizens of countries outside of the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are required to pay application and tuition fees for education at Swedish universities at the undergraduate and master's level.
Umeå University offers scholarships to talented and high-achieving students from outside the EU/EEA.
