The objective of the Doctoral study program “Production Engineering” is to prepare high qualification specialists in the fields of manufacturing engineering and production, who would be able to solve scientific innovation tasks, and prepare specialists for higher educational establishments and research institutions.
All International students, if English is not their first language, are required to provide a proof of English language knowledge. The following methods are acceptable:
IELTS – a minimum overall grade of 6.0, Please note that IELTS test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
TOEFL (iBT)- a minimum overall score 75. TOEFL institutional code for Riga Technical University is 8498. Please note that TOEFL iBT test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
Present a letter confirming that previous education was in English;
Apply to take RTU English online exam
