Modern bioscience is dependent on computational data analysis. This course combines current concepts and techniques of molecular genetics as applied in modern research with practical experience of experimental techniques, and hands-on bioinformatics and data analysis to equip you with the computational and analytical skills necessary for a career in modern molecular biosciences.
Notes about fees for this course
Due to limited places on our medical sciences, biosciences and psychology courses, if you (or your family) are funding your studies, you will need to pay a deposit of £750 (UK/EU Students)/£1500 (International Students) within four weeks of accepting your offer. This will be subtracted from your first tuition fee instalment. You may not need to pay a deposit if you can provide evidence that you are:
Applying for a postgraduate tuition fee loan from the UK Government
Applying for another loan to cover the cost of tuition fee
Applying for a scholarship of at least 50% of the course fee
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, with 6.0 in writing. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability.
