History with Philosophy BA
The History with Philosophy BA will enable you to engage with two of the major traditional methods of viewing the world. You will learn about how people have lived and interacted, from Roman Empire Britain to modern day America. You will do this through reflecting on the complex and often contradictory information about the past that is available to us now, and studying the practice and applications of the historical discipline itself. You will be able to supplement your study of history by learning to create rigorous arguments around classic and modern texts with precision and accuracy and learning to assess historical views about the constitution of the world and how we ought to act within it.
