Whether you have aspirations of running your own hotel or managing a catering company, the BA (Hons) Tourism and Hospitality Management will equip you with the skills needed to do so successfully. Delivered in partnership with University for the Creative Arts (UCA), this programme will help you develop extensive knowledge of the industry by choosing one of two pathways to help you steer your career in the right direction.
You'll have the option to choose between the three or four-year International Route programme. The 4 years international route programme includes a foundation year which will introduce you to the fundamentals of creative business and management whilst preparing you to use the English language in academic work.

Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) is in partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA). As a result of this partnership, BSBI is able to offer the BA (Hons) Tourism and Hospitality Management programme. UCA is an acclaimed creative institution in the UK that ranks highly in all three of the major UK league tables. The university has also been ranked 13th out of all UK universities in the Guardian League Table 2020; and ranked no.7 in the 2021 Guardian League Tables for Business, Management & Marketing.
With the BA (Hons) Tourism and Hospitality Management programme, you will learn how to apply hospitality management techniques and concepts across the globe. As such, you will study management theories and their real-world application. You will also develop problem-solving and decision-making skills, which are vital for successful management in the hospitality sector. This programme is an excellent starting point for your career in the tourism industry.
You will earn a bachelor's degree with 120 UK credits per year (equivalent to 60 ECTS per year). This helps student mobility in the EU when it comes to transferring credits from one higher education institution to another.

BSBI offers multiple study locations for students to choose from! This programme is offered in Paris, France, as a 'Two Programme award' as part of our International Study Experience in partnership with UCA and PPA. It is also available at our main campus in Berlin.

BA (Hons):
Minimum age: 18 years old (titles awarded upon completion of at least 12 years of schooling)
Academic qualifications:
a school leaving certificate that allows you to pursue higher education in Germany (e.g. Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura or International Baccalaureate), or International school leaving certificates, or BTEC/National Diploma, or Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education.
If you do not meet the above academic requirements, applicants with professional qualifications and/or 4 or more years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis

Whether you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate student, BSBI would like all students to have the opportunity to study in Berlin, regardless of their financial status.
BSBI scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need and can be given out for several reasons. They’re designed to support you throughout your studies with us and help you with general living costs. Our scholarships are non-repayable, and you have the freedom to spend it on anything you require from books and equipment to rent and utilities. You can only apply for one bursary or scholarship type in any single year.
Leadership and Enterprise Scholarship
This scholarship, endorsed by the CEO, is awarded based on the following criteria:
Academic merit
You must show that you will be expected to succeed and benefit from your chosen programme and explain what you would like to gain from it.
Personal statement
You will need to write a personal letter of 250 words on how your chosen programme will impact your future.
Financial need
You must show how you could not enrol into the programme without the scholarship.
