Usually, filling out a university application means going online, scrolling through an endless list of requirements and documents, researching what most of these documents even mean, and then trying to gather and submit everything.

Jacobs University wants to give prospective students the chance to apply in a simplified, speedy and convenient way: Admission Days!

But first things first: Where exactly is Jacobs University and why is it worth checking out? Jacobs is a top-ranked university located in Bremen, Germany. With students from more than 110 countries living on its residential campus, Jacobs is definitely the most international university in Germany – and also a very lovely, lively and green place to be. If you’re looking to broaden your horizons, grow as a person, make new friends from around the globe, improve your English language skills and set yourself up for success – then Jacobs University is just the right place for you!

How to apply to uni in 7 easy steps: Admission Day Style!

Admission Days 2021 at Jacobs University will take place from July 10 to August 7. By choosing Admission Days, you do it the easy way! No essays, no language tests like the TOEFL or IELTS, and no letters of recommendation. Book your date as soon as possible, as there are only a limited number of dates and timeslots available.

Jacobs created a user-friendly way of applying – it only takes 7 simple steps:

  1. Graduate from a high school in a European Country with A Levels, an IB Diploma, or the German Abitur.
  2. Visit the Admission Days page and select your preferred Admission Days date.
  3. Pick the program you would like to apply for: International Foundation Year, Bachelor or Master
  4. Choose whether you would like a 20-minute-in-person interview or a virtual one from the comfort of your home.
  5. Rock your interview with the admissions team – the chat will focus on your qualifications, motivation and English language skills.
  6. Receive your admission decision on that same day and possibly even score a merit-based scholarship.
  7. Admitted to Jacobs University? You will be able to take a few days to process and decide.

Why Admission Days?

Gini ’23 quickly knew it was the right decision for her! She got offered a spot at Admission Days 2020 and now studies Integrated Social and Cognitive Psychology at Jacobs: “I never knew applying to a university could be this easy! On my admission day, I had my interview, a campus tour, and my admission, all in a few hours. It was way easier than the online application, and on the admission day, I already had a part scholarship secured! I recommend the admission days to everyone that has the chance to do so.”
