The Master of Research (MRes) is an internationally recognised postgraduate research training degree that will make you competitive in achieving your future academic and career aspirations in the exciting world of research.

Stage 1: Domestic students are enrolled in the Bachelor of Research Studies as a Commonwealth supported student and are liable for student contribution amounts which can be deferred through the HECS-HELP scheme (eligibility conditions apply).

Stage 2: Domestic higher degree research candidates are provided with a funded place in the degree under the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) .

There are overtime fees for higher degree research studies where RTP and Western Sydney University has been exceeded.

Fees: International Master of Research fees are applied based on your area of study.

The fee for the Master of Research depends on your study area for:Humanities, Arts and Social Science: AUD$24,760*Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics: AUD $31,616*
