Entry requirements

If you want to enroll with a foreign diploma (for example an IB Diploma) for an English-language study program, you must register through the International Office. We will determine whether your prior education meets a number of conditions . If you do not meet the conditions yet, but you expect this to be the case in the future (such as obtaining your diploma), you can already register. After reviewing your application, we will send you an admission message stating the admission conditions.

Admission requirements:

  • A diploma equivalent to a Dutch VWO diploma - You can look at the sample list of foreign diplomas to see whether we accept your diploma. Note: this list is only an indication. If your diploma does not meet these requirements, you may in some cases be asked to take entrance exams to meet the admission requirements.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency - If necessary, you can start your application before you have taken your English language test. You can then submit your test result after you have been conditionally admitted. You can find all language test options and scores you need on our language tests page .
