The Bachelor of Social Science (Social Science and Indigenous Studies) will give students an understanding of Australian Indigenous perspectives and ways of thinking. They will be encouraged to consider the political, psychological, cultural and environmental issues that shape the perspectives of Australian Indigenous people. Career opportunities abound in a wide range of fields including the Federal or State public service, health sector, cultural heritage, business and policy development, not-for-profit organisations, Indigenous enterprise and, with further studies, nursing, education, anthropology and journalism.
