USQ's Master of Science (Sport and Exercise) is designed for graduate students with an interest in the sport, health and fitness industry who wish to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sociocultural, scientific and applied aspects of physical health.
Available to study both on-campus and online, this degree will help you develop in-depth knowledge and practical skills required to promote physical wellness across the lifespan.

Note: The Sport and Exercise specialisation is not available to international overseas students or international students studying on-campus at Ipswich.

As a graduate so the Master of Science (Sport and Exercise) 16-unit degree, you may be able to gain accreditation as an exercise scientist via an individual application with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA). National University Course Accreditation Program Exercise Science accreditation is being sort. If you already have an undergraduate degree in the area of Sport and Exercise, you can be eligible for enrolment into the 12-unit Master of Science (Sport and Exercise).
Career outcomes
You can expect to find work in areas such as health and physical activity promotion, sports science and human movement, health and fitness roles (personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, health educator or sports coach, sports performance director), clinical measurements across the lifespan and special conditions relevant to Paralympic and special athletes.
