Produce premium media packages
Through the Bachelor of Communication and Media (Television and Radio Extended) you will be able to make the transition from university student to successful media production professional.
You will be exposed to the four areas of media production management: pre-production, production, post production and distribution. You will learn to develop proposals, pitch projects and manage production budgets, as well as operate studio cameras, lighting rigs and audio mixing equipment.
As a student of Television and Radio Extended you will further explore how to grow a media business from start-up through to commencement. You will develop an understanding of business management and financial models and learn how to apply for grants, attract business clients and pitch to television networks.
Graduates will be equipped with the skills required to work as a sound technician, production coordinator, master control operator, audio-visual producer, production director or post-production supervisor.
