USQ's Graduate Certificate of Spatial Science Technology (Geographic Information Systems) is ideal if you have a three or four year bachelor degree in a field other than engineering and you want to extend your knowledge in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). You don't even need work experience to commence your postgraduate studies in this degree.
Through this four unit degree, you have the option to select from a range of courses (subjects), including web-based geographic information systems, land studies and photogrammetry and remote sensing.
Further Study
When you complete your Graduate Certificate of Spatial Science Technology you could take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Graduate Diploma of Spatial Science Technology. You could even go on to complete the Master of Spatial Science Technology where you will have the opportunity to do a research project and dissertation to apply your formal knowledge to a real world issue.
