The degree will give you a solid foundation in social science knowledge with a focus on Sociology, providing you with the fundamentals of sociological analysis, examining how personal attitudes and experiences relate to wider issues, understanding how group phenomena can give collective meaning to an individual's actions, and exploring social change and the way that forces like globalisation impact on society.
