About Electronic Engineering and Cybernetics at University of Reading

This Masters level course is ideal for applicants who wish to gain further academic knowledge and hands-on practical experience as part of their degree. As a student on this course, you will benefit from a broader subject range thand the BEng version of this programme and undertake a major industrially-based project in the fourth year.

The first two years of the degree are the same as the BEng in Electronic Engineering and Cybernetics. After that the degree has more advanced modules in control, intelligence, signal processing, circuit design, robotics, power electronics, virtual reality, wireless communications, plus options including entrepreneurship and foreign language. This is aimed at preparing you for a further industrially-based project taken during your fourth year and which will have a significant embedded systems design and robotics content.
