About Finance with Banking and Investment at University of Lincoln

The MSc Finance with Banking and Investment at Lincoln is designed for those who wish to follow a career in the financial sector. The demand for those with applicable knowledge of corporate finance, investment, commercial and investment banking is high in the UK, Europe, and especially the emerging market economies in Asia.

This programme is designed to give students the opportunity to develop their understanding of how government policy influences the overall stock market index, how corporate actions affect the stock prices, and how private and corporate wealth is created.

An international team of lecturers with academic and practical experience teach on the course. There will also be guest speakers and an opportunity for students to have access to a set of exclusive career events that can help them to build a CV, deal with psychometric tests, and formulate effective applications.

Students will also be able to apply for a short, two-week placement between the first and second semesters in order to gain some work experience from the UK. More information regarding the potential costs of this placement are outlined in the Fees tab.

Entry requirements

A minimum 2:2 honours degree and grade C or above GCSE Mathematics

Please note that as this is a conversion Masters programme we do not accept those with BSc or BA Accounting onto this programme. Applicants from all other backgrounds will be considered.

International Students will require English Language at IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each element, or equivalent. http://www.lincoln.ac.uk/englishrequirements

The University of Lincoln offers international students (non EU/UK) who do not meet the direct entry requirements for a postgraduate degree course the option of completing a pre-master's programme at the university's International Study Centre.
