About Advanced Health Assessment at University of Lincoln

The Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Health Assessment is designed to enable experienced practitioners to work autonomously and make high-level decisions within their specialist area of clinical practice.

The development of advanced clinical practice roles is pivotal to the success of the NHS Five Year Forward View Strategy (2014) for the delivery of integrated healthcare services. There is currently a national drive for Registered Nurses and Allied Health Professionals to advance their knowledge and skills in order to provide safe, effective and timely care for service users and find non-medical solutions to the existing and emerging workforce challenges. This programme has been developed in response to workforce requirements for advancing healthcare practice.
