About Positive Behaviour Support at University of Kent

This programme produces graduates competent in the co-production of strategies likely to result in better support. Graduates are able to take up employment in education and adult services in specialist roles.

The Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support attracts parents, teachers and health professionals, social care specialists, support workers, team leaders and those eager to further both their knowledge and practice, and career opportunities.

You can discuss options to ‘upgrade’ from the Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support to the Diploma in Higher Education in Positive Behaviour Support or the BSc in Positive Behaviour Support with your tutor during your studies.

The Tizard Centre is at the forefront of learning and research in autism, intellectual and developmental disability and community care. In 2013 it received a Queen’s Anniversary Prize in recognition of its outstanding work in these areas.
