Four-Year PhDThe Institute offers a Four-Year PhD programme, aimed primarily at students who wish to teach at University level. The Four-Year PhD typically begins with a taught Masters-level course designed to provide you with the methodological skills for advanced research. On successful completion of the Masters degree, you may progress to the doctorate. The second and third years will include further specialist subject training, together with research and the Institute may make available teaching apprenticeships with modest remuneration.
