The method of teaching is by small seminar groups. Students are expected to prepare papers in advance on a given topic which they then present at the following seminar, under the guidance of the appropriate module supervisor.
Duration One year full-time (October to following 15 September). Part-time study is possible only if the candidate lives in the Exeter area, as attendance at seminars is compulsory.
Entry requirements Normally a reasonably good Law degree, and a sound understanding of the basic principles of public and private law. We are happy to consider students with qualifications or degrees other than in Law, eg Accountancy or Business Studies, if those qualifications include a substantial legal element.
