About Mathematics and Accounting at University of Exeter

Mathematics may be studied with Computer Science, Engineering, French, German, Spanish or Physics. Pure and Applied Mathematics modules normally take up 50 per cent of your time and the remaining modules are taken in the other subject studied. The programmes with French, German or Spanish take four years with the third year spent abroad, normally studying at a university in the appropriate country or teaching English in a school; there is also a three-year variant without the year abroad. For details of the second subject please refer to the relevant subject’s entry.
