This programme is taught jointly by the School of Psychology and the School of Sport and Health Sciences. The degree provides a good foundation for any student interested in a career as a psychologist with a particular focus on applying those skills in the broad areas of sport, exercise and health maintenance.
This programme provides British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation. BPS accreditation confers eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Registration, provided the minimum standard of qualification of Second Class Honours is achieved. This is the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
