About Sustainable Development (Environmental Change) at University of Exeter
This inter-School programme offers a unique opportunity to study first world sustainable development in a holistic context. It provides a rigorous theoretical training in core issues surrounding sustainability. A wide range of options enable students to specialise in key aspects of sustainable development, providing a practical and problem-based approach to learning focused on both the academic study of sustainable development and the implementation of sustainability in a range of professional contexts. This is achieved through thorough training in research methods for sustainability and the opportunity to develop work-based learning and related experience.
Some elements of the programme are offered as CPD modules, enabling students to fashion their own learning programme in sustainable development, management, leadership and other areas. Students can study for a Postgraduate (Continuing Professional Development) award.
